Medard Gabel, CEO of BigPicture Consutling, has developed and delivered programs for corporate and government clients around the world including Motorola, IBM, General Motors, Novartis, Chase Manhattan Bank, the United Nations and the U.S. Congress. He is the former Executive Director of the World Game Institute where he developed the World Game™ global simulation, the Internet based global simulation NetWorld Game, the socioeconomic database of global statistics Global Data Manager™, the interactive atlas and encyclopedia of world problems Global Recall, and other products.

He worked with Buckminster Fuller for 12 years where he learned the power and utility of whole systems thinking, global perspectives and a good sense of humor.

Mr. Gabel is also the author of six books on global problems, resources, and strategies, the latest of which are Global Inc. An Atlas of the Multinational Corporation, published in 2003, and Seven Billion Billionaires, due out in 2010.
